Philly Rap Label CEO Gets Life In Prison"Philadelphia record label owner Alton Coles, also known as "Ace Capone", was convicted under Pennsylvania's "kingpin" law and sentenced to life in prison on Thursday. In August of 2005 Coles was arrested and indicted for organizing a $25 million drug ring that stretched across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland, reports AllHipHop.com. During the seven-week trial prosecutors accused Coles and his affiliates of moving two metric tons of powdered cocaine and almost half a ton of crack between 1997 and 2005. Prosecutors believe that Coles opened a number businesses in efforts to portray legitimacy and conceal the true source of his earnings.
