UK Internet users will soon be able to enjoy unlimited, legal music downloads at home for a small additional monthly fee, after a British-based music company announced it had signed deals with internet service providers and major record labels. Omnifone, which already provides unlimited music downloads to mobile phone users, said its MusicStation Next Generation service would provide internet users with a legitimate alternative to illegal file sharing. It is on the verge of signing a deal with Sky which would enable Sky broadband customers to pay a little more for their monthly internet subscription in exchange for unlimited music downloads
