The Rolling Stones have been named the bookies' favourites to headline the final night of next year's sell-out Glastonbury Festival

The Rolling Stones have been named the bookies' favourites to headline the final night of next year's sell-out Glastonbury FestivalTickets for the event were snapped up within hours of going on sale, despite none of the acts being announced until next year. Bookmaker William Hill places the Stones as 4/1 favourites to play top of the bill on the Sunday night next year, with Coldplay and David Bowie at 8/1. Rumours are also circulating that Beyonce and U2 could play the most famous music festival on earth. "We have lost a few quid on the headline act for two years running and it will be interesting to see if punters get it right again," said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
