John Peel's legacy to be carried on in website run by his son

John Peel's son Tom Ravenscroft will carry the legacy of the great broadcaster and evangelise new talent on a website devoted to new music. The Johnpeelmusic.com site has been created as a joint venture between John Peel's record label, Dandelion Records, and Universal Music. Ravenscroft will supervise the site, which will continue the work of his father who launched the careers of a pantheon of rock stars from Marc Bolan to The White Stripes during almost 40 years of broadcasting
