Chris Whitley dies

Chris Whitley, a chameleon singer-songwriter who oscillated between roots rock 'n' roll, blues and alt-rock, has died. He was 45. Mr. Whitley died Sunday of lung cancer in Houston, according to his record label, Messenger Records
